I am very excited about our new (well… very old, but new to me) La San Marco Hand-Pull fully manual espressoA small coffee beverage, about 20 ml, prepared on an espresso machine where pressurized hot water extracted through compressed coffee.: In its most stripped-down, basic form, this is... machine. I can’t tell you how excellent the shots are from this machine, and the level of control you have over the speed and shot volume. The picture to the right is not that impressive in appearance because the machine is fully unshrouded and stripped down (but fully functioning). It hisses like a serpent, has tons of steam pressure (on Sunday mornings I even steam eggs on it). Parts are still readily available for these, the oldest hand-pulls still being made.
When I replace a couple seals and put all the fancy trim back on it, I will take another lucious photo… 🙂 |
We also have a 1 Group machine that I sold as is to a local coffee roasterA machine for roasting coffee. Or the person operating it! The basic requirements for a coffee roaster are a heating element that gets suitably hot and a mechanism.../shop. These are 220v machines.
