A video walkthrough for changing the heating element on your Roest coffee roaster.
I used the same element for at least 2 years, 2500+ roasts (or Roasts?) before it suddenly quit. Luckily it’s pretty easy to install a new one. And we stock spare elements as well as everything else ROEST at Sweet Maria’s / CoffeeShrub.
We hear that Roest heating element lifespan is currently a bit variable … and Roest has been trying to get to the bottom of this. Some last for 1000s of roast (like ours) but some quit early.
Roest switched to a new manufacturer that was supposed to solve the issue. But it seems to persist. In any case, learning to change out the element will keep you rolling in your sample roasting production.
