The basic requirements for a coffee roaster are a heating element that gets suitably hot and a mechanism.... The Bullet roaster can take a lot and is made for back-to-back roasting. But to get the most out of it, you need to clean the machine on a schedule.
We have seen some horribly abused roasters come back to us, by owners who probably shouldn’t have gotten one. Some people are buying the Bullet just to crank out coffee for some small commercial endeavor. That’s great, provided you tend to your roaster and care for it.
Any coffee roaster that has overdue maintenance is a fire hazard. And by that I do not mean an eventual fire hazard down the line. An unmaintained roaster is an IMMEDIATE FIRE HAZARD.
