I have 6 seads, want to grow them in pots please help
Plant them 1 inch deep and water once a week. It takes a long time for germination. 8 weeks or so.
Thompson, I also live in Pacifica. I just bought three Ethiopian seeds from Sweet Maria’s and am excited to try to grow them….in clay pots like you. Do you have a greenhouse, or do you grow them in pots in your backyard? It appears in your video that you have a lot of sun. I’ll try for the sunniest part of my yard to grow them. I’m going to pick up the seeds from your store, so hopefully, I can ask for tips.
Thank you for this video and the seed offer,
Norm
Hi neighbor! I have all my coffee plants inside most of the year. It’s not the cold as much as the wind that harms coffee plants at my place.
I purchased a package of 10 seeds from Maui Seeds, which arrived the beginning of February. Of the 10, two have sprouted after roughly 60 days. I have kept them in a wet paper towel to germinate. I expect more to follow. I planted the two that germinated in soil today. I also plan on purchasing two seedlings from Maui Seeds or Frinj Coffee in Ventura. I live in SoCal and will update as time progresses. Thank you SM.
Sounds like it’s going well. We will have some fresh seeds from Guatemala available in the next week or two FYI
