A video tour of the Ngororero coffee washing station in the Western District of Rwanda
RwandaA Bourbon cultivar variant from Rwanda and Burundi. Bourbon coffees are named for the island in the India Ocean where French colonists grew it. Some history from the... coffee is so important to us, and it was a pleasure to get back to “post-pandemic” coffee travel with a trip to Rwanda’s beautiful western coffee farming areas.
We have bought coffee from Ngororero for a couple years, and it was great to visit once again this year. It’s not far from Kageyo station which we have used as a source for many years not.
I (Thompson) visited the station with Celine, the main agronomist, Harrison the MD, and Wenceslaus who manages the station.
What a beautiful area, and well kept, tidy station this is… #rwandacoffee #coffeeprocessing #africancoffee

Do you still sell green coffee to people in small 1Lb bags. I don’t see on your site anymore
Hey Mark, we sure do! You can link to the site HERE. That will take you to our green coffee list. You can also mouse over the “Green Coffee” menu tab at the top of our site for a drop down menu organized by origin.
Also, if you are having a hard time navigating back to our green coffee list from the library, just click “Shop Sweet Maria’s” in the top right corner of the page.
Let me know if you have any issues!
