I just added a further discount to our shipping rates to bring it more in line with what our discount actually is. I know it ought not to be that complicated, but if you have ever pondered a shipping contract with UPS, the tiers and bands and incentives and fuel surcharges etc. , blah blah blah…. it is enough to make your eyes glaze over. So I will keep adjusting the discount to bring it in line with what we actually see on the bill.
And we have had a few comments about coffee selections here – we will be adding some decaf selections soon. We are trying something new, sending a coffee or two to the decaf plant directly for The removal of the cherry and parchment from the coffee seed.: Coffee is either wet-processed (also called washed or wet-milled) or dry-processed (also called wild, natural or natural dry, and we abbreviate it DP sometimes). and having it shipped back. There is added cost with this but we are hopeful that controlling what coffees we decaf will give us great results. Watch for those special decafs in a month or so.
